We are now seeking a strategic, visionary and collaborative nature finance leader to become the next Global Head, Conservation Finance. You will lead and grow CI’s conservation financial efforts including the setup of a billion-dollar strategy, advising market leaders and investors, developing conservation finance partnerships, scaling up deeply impactful SMEs, building a portfolio of early-stage carbon projects and pioneering innovative financial instruments like nature bonds, biodiversity credits and the next generation of debt-for-nature swaps.
The incoming Global Head will lead on conservation finance for a growing, global organization with 1,600+ staff in 30 country offices across the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe, with over $500 million of investment deployed in the environment in more than 45 countries.

The role will ideally be based in the US (Arlington or New York), London, Brussels, Sao Paulo, or Singapore. We would sponsor work authorization for the candidate if they are unable to work in these locations. The role will also require willingness to travel to offices in Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The base salary is $350,000. CI offers a generous bonus pay structure based on performance for the conservation finance practice.
