The Taylor Bennett Foundation is a pioneering and award-winning charity committed to addressing the underrepresentation of people from ethnically diverse backgrounds in PR and communications. We empower individuals from ethnically diverse backgrounds through market leading innovative training programmes, mentorship, and industry connections. With the support of organisations from the FTSE 100, to communications agencies to tech leaders and beyond, The Taylor Bennett Foundation runs professional development programmes that provide participants with the knowledge, skill set, and network required to pursue a successful career in communications.

Now celebrating our 15th year anniversary, we are seeking a visionary, inclusive, innovative and inspiring CEO who can continue to drive our mission forward. As CEO, you will be responsible for nurturing and coaching a vibrant community of talent, motivating our dedicated team, and building on and delivering our strategy for the foundation's future ambitions. You will drive growth and expansion, forging commercial partnerships across sectors and potentially on an international scale.

The successful candidate will have a genuine commitment to mentoring and collaborating with young talent, tackling barriers to access, and an understanding of the challenges faced by young people from ethnically diverse backgrounds. You will have a proven ability to capitalise on opportunities and a track record of developing strategic plans, effectively managing partnerships across diverse stakeholders, from corporate entities to non-profits.

This role requires hands-on, leadership within a small, brave, ambitious, growing organisation, with a close-knit team. While experience in the non-profit sector is advantageous, we welcome candidates with backgrounds in partnership management, corporate affairs, or related fields.

To apply, please submit a CV and covering letter on this exciting opportunity, detailing how you fulfil the role description, how you would approach the role and personal specification. The deadline for applications is 11:59pm on Friday 17th May 2024.

The role is hybrid, with a blend of WFH and working from our office based in London and the Salary range is £80-90k, dependent on experience.

Perrett Laver will conduct an executive search process in parallel with the public advertisement of the role. Longlisted candidates will be invited to interview with Perrett Laver at the end of May and beginning of June and the Selection Panel will subsequently meet to decide upon a final shortlist for the post in early to mid-June, following which, interviews with the Taylor Bennett Foundation will take place in mid-June.

If you require any reasonable adjustments to assist you in the selection process, please advise us of these so that we can make appropriate arrangements.

At the Taylor Bennett Foundation, we value diversity and are committed to fostering an inclusive workplace that celebrates individuals from all backgrounds. We strongly encourage applications from candidates of diverse ethnicities, races, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, and experiences. We believe that diversity enriches our organization and strengthens our ability to achieve our mission of advancing inclusion within the PR and communications industry.
