Founded in 1873 as one of the first members of the Girls’ Day School Trust (GDST), Notting Hill & Ealing High School is proud of its rich history of nurturing young minds and empowering girls to “learn without limits”. Today, over 900 girls aged 4 to 18 thrive in the school’s unique and high-achieving educational culture which is underpinned by a kind and generous-spirited community and a breadth of extra-curricular opportunities that inspire confidence and creativity.

After eight years of inspirational leadership, the GDST now seeks a strategic, charismatic and innovative leader to succeed Matthew Shoults and further develop Notting Hill & Ealing High School’s considerable existing strengths. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of one of the UK’s pre-eminent girls’ schools and develop its position at the forefront of independent education. As a member of the GDST, Notting Hill & Ealing High School staff and pupils benefit from multiple opportunities to learn, develop and grow as part of the single most powerful and effective school network in the country.

The new Head of Notting Hill & Ealing High School will enthuse and inspire staff, pupils, parents and prospective parents alike. The successful candidate will possess the confidence, energy and humility to inherit a high performing school and staff body and chart an ambitious course for their onward development. They will combine an evidenced track record of successful leadership experience developed as a Head or Deputy Head, with a demonstrable passion for girls’ education.
