Are you motivated by your Christian faith to end poverty and help find practical ways to root it out from the world?

Christian Aid is a Christian organisation that insists the world can and must be swiftly changed to where everyone can live a full life free from poverty. Founded in 1947, Christian Aid is an agency of the churches in Britain and Ireland mandated to work on relief, development and advocacy for poverty eradication. Poverty is an outrage against humanity. It robs people of dignity, of freedom and hope, of power over their own lives. Christian Aid has a vision – an end to poverty – and believes that this vision can become a reality.

About the role

We are seeking an outstanding leader to build on our strong foundations and deliver our ambitious strategy, Partnership for Change. You will demonstrate significant experience of leading and managing complex international organisations. You will have change leadership experience as well as be bold, inspirational and motivational with excellent communications and ambassadorial skills. You will have the ability to build strong relationships across a complex stakeholder map. You must be a practicing Christian and be able to demonstrate a commitment to working in partnership with the Church community.
