Leaders in High Voltage Power Electronics and System Design
The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is a young and fast growing publicly funded University, home to 10000 students and 1200 staff. In 2024, SIT will be moving to a purpose-built state of the art campus in the heart of Singapore's Punggol Digital District, where academia and industry will be co-located in one of Singapore’s youngest communities. Dedicated to developing individuals and collaborating with industry to drive economic and societal impact, SIT aspires to lead in innovative workplace learning and applied research.
SIT encompasses five academic clusters - Business, Communication and Design, Engineering, Food, Chemical and Biotechnology, Health and Social Sciences and Infocomm Technology. As the third-largest autonomous university in Singapore by intake, SIT is expecting to grow their faculty size by at least 10% over the next few years.
SIT is seeking skilled research leaders in High Voltage Power Electronics and System Design who are enthusiastic about fostering value through collaborative industry partnerships. The prospective candidates will have the opportunity to leverage SIT’s Industrial Doctorate and Master’s programs to develop research talent tailored to industry needs, as well as access SIT’s cutting-edge open innovation laboratories and infrastructure to contribute to impactful translational research. The SIT Punggol campus, home to Singapore’s first Experimental Urban Microgrid testbed, is part of the four functional microgrids in the country. We invite passionate and dedicated leaders from academia or industry who share our vision of advancing industry-relevant research and education.
