Following the announcement of Tom Beardmore-Gray’s retirement after seven years of transformational leadership, the Trustees of Prep Schools Trust invite applications for the role of Chief Executive Officer. At a time of challenge for all independent schools, the CEO will ensure ongoing sustainable support for the Trust’s current schools whilst also setting an ambitious strategy for further growth and development over the next few years. They will build on the Trust’s current strengths whilst articulating a vision for the future of the group which recognises the potential of the individual schools within their local contexts, as well as the opportunities for further expansion. 

The new CEO will have a proven track record in organisational leadership and a deep knowledge and understanding of education. They will be a powerful advocate for the work of Prep Schools Trust within the sector and a confident communicator across a range of audiences. The Trust is ambitious for growth and the successful candidate will require strong business acumen to ensure that the strategic aims of the Trust are underpinned by strong financial performance. They will be a highly collaborative strategic thinker, with the communication skills and personal authority to navigate the organisation through this exciting period of growth and development.
