The London FA, founded in 1892, aims to inspire positive change through football for all. It is now seeking a Chair of the Board of Directors. Charged with administering men’s, women’s and youth football within the city, it serves London’s grassroots football family of 84,500 players across more than 1,000 clubs.
With the opportunity to oversee an ambitious new strategic plan, the Chair can play a remarkable role in the sporting and social life of London by uniting communities, tackling inequalities and improving the health of the nation.
An experienced and effective leader, the Chair will be able to motivate and bring the best out of a diverse and passionate group of Directors and enable the Board to deliver its strategic role and provide effective governance for the organisation. Alongside the development of the Board and acting as a critical friend to the Executive, the Chair will have the appetite, time and skills to build strong stakeholder relationships with key strategic partners, to include both the FA and our vital club and league members.
