Beachborough is one of the UK’s leading independent preparatory schools, offering an outstanding day and boarding education for boys and girls aged 2 ½ to 13. Situated on the borders of Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire in 30 acres of stunning grounds and woodland, Beachborough prepares its pupils for the best senior schools and for the challenges of the 21st century.

Following the appointment of Jeremy Banks to the headship of Caldicott, the Board of Governors seeks an adventurous leader to build on Beachborough’s many existing strengths and develop the School further as a model of excellence in all round preparatory education, outdoor learning and digital learning.

The successful candidate will possess a track record of successful senior leadership experience as a Head or Deputy Head, and the strategic ability to evolve Beachborough in this next important phase of its development. Warm, collegial and charismatic, the next Head will possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, engaging all parts of the school community in its future success. A commitment to the School’s nurturing and inclusive ethos is essential.

Beachborough School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. The successful candidate must be willing to undergo an enhanced disclosure through the Disclosure and Barring Service.
