Director of Marketing and Recruiting

We need you, our director of marketing and recruiting, to elevate our brand, market our programs, and attract world-class students. Your contribution will play a crucial role in writing the next chapter of ESMT Berlin’s successful development.

As director of marketing and recruiting you will lead a team of marketing and student recruiting experts. You will have direct responsibility for all aspects of promoting and increasing enrollment in our degree and open enrollment executive programs. You will partner and align with the program directors responsible for the individual program offerings and report to the ESMT Dean of Programs.


 

Your key responsibilities will include

  • Marketing strategy: Develop and execute comprehensive integrated marketing strategies that leverage digital and traditional platforms to promote our diverse range of programs, ensuring global reach and engagement.  Ensure our digital marketing approach is best in class.
  • Student recruitment: Spearhead student acquisition strategies, utilizing data analytics, partnerships, and digital outreach to increase enrollment in our Master, MBA, and executive education programs.
  • Data-driven insights: Leverage data analytics and market research to continuously optimize marketing and student recruitment efforts, ensuring measurable outcomes.
  • Innovation in education marketing: Stay at the forefront of education marketing trends, implementing innovative and forward-thinking practices that ensure ESMT Berlin remains a leader in the sector.
  • Brand management: Lead initiatives to refine and amplify ESMT Berlin’s brand narrative, enhancing its visibility, reputation, and reach both locally and globally. Position us as the top choice for students and executives.
  • Team leadership: Lead and inspire a cross-functional team responsible for content creation, lead generation, and recruitment. Ensure strategic alignment with overall business objectives.
     

You are qualified for this position, because you have

  • Proven experience in senior marketing leadership roles, ideally within higher education or related service industries.
  • A deep understanding of higher education trends and student recruitment strategies.
  • Expertise in digital marketing and data-driven customer acquisition strategies. Experience with HubSpot, SalesForce, and PowerBI is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills, with a focus on using data for strategic decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a proven track record of leading cross-functional teams.
