Ollscoil dhátheangach atá inti, agus tá campais aici i gcúig chontae in iarthar na hÉireann, Dún na nGall, Sligeach, Maigh Eo, an Clár, agus an príomhchampas i nGaillimh. Tá sí rangaithe ar an ollscoil is fearr in Éirinn don fhorbairt inbhuanaithe i Ranguithe Domhanda Times Higher Education (THE) agus ní i mbarr feabhais sa teagasc agus san oideachas amháin atá tionchar á imirt againn; tá curtha romhainn againn an domhan a athrú chun feabhais.

Tá Ollscoil na Gaillimhe, a bhfuil cáil i bhfad is i ngearr uirthi as feabhas acadúil agus as an nuálaíocht, ag iarraidh teacht ar Uachtarán a léireoidh fís a threoróidh trí ré nua muid ina dtiocfaidh rath agus bláth orainn. Beidh an t-iarrthóir eiseamláireach an-tiomanta don Ollscoil, dá misean, dá cuid luachanna, agus dá cuid spriocanna, agus beidh na cáilíochtaí ceannaireachta ag an té sin atá riachtanach chun barr feabhais agus tionchar taighde agus oideachais a bhrú chun cinn, agus chun ár gclú náisiúnta agus domhanda a neartú. Ceannaire spreagúil a bheidh sa té sin, a bheidh in ann meas agus rannpháirtíocht a chothú i measc phobal na hollscoile trí chéile, comhaltaí foirne, mic léinn, alumni agus comhpháirtithe seachtracha san áireamh.

Tá Ollscoil na Gaillimhe tiomanta do chomhionannas deiseanna a chur chun cinn agus do thimpeallacht a chruthú agus a chothú a chuireann luach ar éagsúlacht ár bhfoirne agus ár mac léinn agus a dhéanann ceiliúradh orthu. Tá iarratais á lorg againn ar an ról seo ó dhaoine ó gach réimse den tsochaí, gach grúpa gannionadaíochta san áireamh, agus molaimid go láidir dóibh iarratas a dhéanamh air.

Is féidir tuilleadh eolais, sonraí faoin mbealach le hiarratas a dhéanamh san áireamh, a íoslódáil ag https://perrettlaver.com/ollscoil-na-gaillimhet-uachtaran/.

Conas Iarratas a Dhéanamh

Is éard a bheidh sna hiarratais curriculum vitae iomlán ina dtabharfar mionsonraí gairme agus éachtaí, chomh maith le litir chumhdaigh ina ndíreofar ar an gcur síos ar an ról agus ar shonraíocht an duine. Iarrtar ar iarrthóirí sonraí teagmhála triúr moltóirí a thabhairt atá in ann na téamaí lárnacha sa chur síos poist a phlé lena n-áirítear Ceannaireacht agus Fís, Barr Feabhais Taighde agus Acadúil, Éifeachtúlacht Eagraíochtúil agus Rannpháirtíocht Sheachtrach agus Taithí Tiomsaithe Airgid. Chomh maith leis sin, d’fhéadfaí teistiméireachtaí breise a lorg le linn an phróisis. Tabhair faoi deara nach ndéanfar teagmháil le moltóirí gan cead a fháil roimh ré. Ba cheart iarratais a uaslódáil tríd an láithreán gréasáin anseo agus an uimhir thagartha 7740 a bheith luaite orthu.

Glacfar le hiarratais go dtí 5:00pm (Am na hÉireann), Dé hAoine, an 9 Bealtaine 2025.

Cuirfidh Perrett Laver réamhagallaimh ar na hiarrthóirí a bheidh ar an liosta fada ag tús mhí an Mheithimh. Ina dhiaidh sin tiocfaidh an Coiste Roghnaithe le chéile chun gearrliosta iarrthóirí a chur le chéile.

Tabharfar cuireadh do na daoine seo tabhairt faoi mheasúnuithe breise ag tús mhí Iúil, agus d’fhéadfadh tástálacha síciméadracha, deimhniú teistiméireachtaí foirmiúil agus gníomhaíochtaí rannpháirtíochta neamhfhoirmiúla a bheith i gceist leis na measúnuithe sin ach ní bheidh siad teoranta dóibh. Reáchtálfar na hagallaimh deiridh ina dhiaidh sin sa dara leath de mhí Iúil. Dhá bhabhta a bheidh i gceist leo.

In Ollscoil na Gaillimhe, déanaimid ceiliúradh ar an éagsúlacht agus creidimid go mbeidh peirspictíochtaí, buanna agus cuir chuige uathúla ag gach iarrthóir a chuirfidh le pobal na hOllscoile. Molaimid go láidir go dtiocfadh iarratais ó gach cúlra beag beann ar chine, reiligiún, bunadh eitneach, inscne, stádas teaghlaigh, stádas sibhialta, ballraíocht de Phobal na dTaistealaithe, claonadh gnéis, míchumas nó aois.
