Wiltshire Football Association is seeking to appoint Independent Non-Executive Directors to join their Board and support existing members with the strategic oversight of the organisation to realise its ambitions in the region. Wiltshire FA is the not-for-profit, governing body of football in the county of Wiltshire, serving a grassroots football family of over 22,000 players across more than 1,000 clubs. Wiltshire FA seeks to grow participation, promote diversity and regulate the sport for everyone to enjoy.
Having welcomed a new Chief Executive Officer in March 2024 and a new Chair in January 2025, it is an exciting time to join Wiltshire FA in the early phases of their 2024-2028 strategic cycle and support the development of grassroots football across the county.
With this board recruitment, the skillsets Wiltshire FA are looking for are:
Location: Wiltshire FA Green Lane Playing Fields, Devizes, SN10 5EP.
Remuneration: This is a voluntary role with relevant expenses reimbursed.
Time Commitment: 1-2 days per month, inclusive of: 6 board meetings annually, sub-committee meetings, preparation for meetings, annual in person strategy day, ad hoc strategic support to the executive.
Term: The appointment is for a three-year term.
