The University is seeking a Chief Operating Officer to join as a key member of the University Executive Board. Holding overall management responsibility for the professional services, a senior team of 12, and a budget of c.£100 million, the Chief Operating Officer will be responsible for providing leadership, development and effective delivery of all professional services across the University. The appointee will also act as Secretariat to the University’s Council and Senate, ensuring the provision of effective corporate governance.

The successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of shaping modern, cost-effective and service-oriented professional service operations within large and complex organisations.
